Furthermore, a number of novel muropeptides (B1 to B7) were detected in AD07 pepidoglycan. Peaks B1 and B2 may correspond to monomers with a disaccharide-pentapeptide structure, while B3-B7 may represent different forms of a dimer – a bis-disaccharide penta-tetra [18].
